Brunner Communications celebrates our 2nd anniversary this October, and it has been an amazing two-years! Our esteemed client list continues to grow, and I feel very fortunate to be working with so many individuals and corporations nationwide. It’s truly rewarding work.
Brunner Communications kicked off the fall season with our “Real-World Ready: Prep for Success” seminar at Providence College plus a number of corporate workshops ranging from “Presence and Perceptions” to “Networking Like a Pro.”
One of the most interesting topics that I’ve been exploring with all of my clients is what I call the “Epidemic of the Up-Pitch!” Do you know what I’m talking about?
We teamed up with The Partnership, Inc. for their 2015 Class of Associates Career Development Day, and there were many philanthropic events to which I was able to lend a hand, including: the Red Sox Foundation’s 12th annual “Fenway to the Runway,” The Berkshire Hills Music Academy’s 15th Anniversary Gala, and The Women’s Lunch Place 31st Annual Spaghetti Dinner.
And, at the risk of burying the lead, there is one additional highlight I’m immensely proud to share: I have been named to the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I’ve been involved with the Foundation for many years, whether through the stories I’ve done with “Wish Kids” to serving as the Mistress of Ceremonies at their annual Gala, to helping grant wishes along the way. I’m honored to serve on their Board in hopes of raising awareness of the exceptional work they do for deserving children in our community.
